Manos Del Uruguay Silk Blend

 Manos Silk Blend is a luxurious yarn with eco-friendly credentials. It is a light double knit weight which knits to its own patterns but an experienced knitter could probably use it with any double knit or 4-ply pattern.

It is hand-dyed in kettles and hand spun and therefore no two skeins are exactly alike and there are no dyelots.

It is made from 70% extrafine merino wool and 30% silk and comes in a stunning array of colours both space-dyed and solid (new for December 2008).

Careful hand washing only in cold water.

100g hanks with 270 m on each.

Tension: 22 stitches to 30 rows on 4mm needles for a 10cm by 10cm square.
