Nettle yarn knits in a similar way to linen. It is mostly suitable for bags, placemats or other household items. It is believed to be a natural moth repellent. It can be combined with other yarns to give strength to rugs and other larger items.
It is hand spun from the dried stem fibres of the Himalyan nettle plant.
